Give the page order you want and get the document rebuilt to match. Typing 3,1,2 moves page three to the front. Typing 1-5,8 keeps six pages and drops everything else. Typing 1,1,2 gives you page one twice.
One field does reordering, deleting and duplicating because they are the same operation underneath: the output is whatever pages you listed, in the order you listed them. Anything you leave out is simply not copied across.
Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so the document you get back is identical in quality to the one you put in. A page that appears twice is genuinely the same page, not a screenshot of it.
How to organize PDF
- Add your PDF. One file, up to 100 MB. The page count is what you will be working against, so check it first if the document is long.
- Type the page order. Use commas and ranges: 3,1,2 to reorder, 1-5,8 to keep only those, 5-1 to reverse a run of pages.
- Leave out what you do not want. There is no separate delete step. A page you do not list is not copied into the result.
- Rebuild and download. Bookmarks are remapped to the new positions where their target page survived the edit.
What the page order field accepts
Single pages and ranges, comma separated. 1-5,8,12-14 takes pages one to five, then eight, then twelve to fourteen, in that order.
Descending ranges reverse a run. 5-1 gives you pages five, four, three, two, one. This is the quickest way to fix a document that was scanned back-to-front, and 20-1 reverses a twenty-page file entirely.
Repeats duplicate. 1,1,2,3 produces a four-page document with page one at the front twice. Useful for a cover sheet that needs to appear before each section.
Order is exactly what you type. 3,1,2 and 1,2,3 both keep all three pages but produce different documents. Nothing is sorted for you.
What happens to bookmarks
Each bookmark is repointed at wherever its page ended up. A bookmark whose page you removed is dropped, because an outline entry that jumps to a page that no longer exists is worse than a missing one.
Where a page appears more than once, its bookmark attaches to the first occurrence only. Two identical entries pointing at different pages reads as a fault rather than a feature.
If you delete a chapter heading but keep its sub-sections, those sub-sections are promoted up a level instead of disappearing with their parent.
Where this is the wrong tool
Combining several documents. Organize works inside one file. To put two documents together, use Merge PDF first and then reorganise the result.
Very long documents. Typing an order for a 300-page file by hand is miserable and error-prone. If you are keeping most of it and dropping a few pages, it is usually faster to think in terms of the ranges you keep — 1-47,49-112 removes page 48 — than to list everything.
Forms. Reordering pages that carry form fields can leave the field order out of step with the visual order, so tabbing through the form jumps around. Flatten the form first if the tab order matters.

How do I delete pages from a PDF?
List the pages you want to keep and leave the rest out. To remove page 6 from a 10-page document, enter 1-5,7-10. There is no separate delete control because keeping and deleting are the same operation — the result contains exactly the pages you named.
How do I reverse the page order?
Enter a descending range covering the whole document. For a 20-page file, type 20-1. This is the fastest fix for a stack that went through the scanner back-to-front, and it works on any run of pages, so 1-4,12-5,13-20 reverses only the middle section.
Can I duplicate a page?
Yes — list it more than once. 1,1,2,3 puts page one at the front twice. The duplicate is a real copy of the page, identical in quality, not an image of it, so text on it stays selectable and searchable.
Will reordering pages reduce the quality?
No. Pages are copied across as they are, with the same fonts and images at the same resolution. Nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed, so the output is as good as the input however many times you reorganise the document.
